Lots and variety of top quality food. There were quiet hours after 11 pm, the great music and dance performances end promptly. The room was great. The housekeeping staff (Demetra) was amazing. The guest relations manager (Eleni) was amazing. The chief restaurant service lady was amazing, and her staff was very polite and helpful. Everyone went above and beyond for us.

We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival, the staff was really friendly, the rooms were clean and beautiful. There was evening entertainment, which we enjoyed very much. The food was really, really good, and the location of the hotel is excellent. Overall, a fantastic stay in a superb hotel.

Firstly this is a 5 star hotel, not 4 star as far as I'm concerned! Everything about the hotel is exceptional - including the lovely, hardworking staff, ultramodern rooms, decor and technology and delicious cuisine. And if you're an animal lover, the furry hospitality and welcome offered by the visiting cats by the hotel pool! 😀

Amazing hotel! Great pool and bar area. The staff are wonderful and friendly, service around the pool is fast and drinks are really nice. The food is great! Especially the Al a carte menu which is served on a Friday and Saturday we ate there both days and it was the best meal of our holiday! The room was incredible it was comfortable and clean! We had a room with a hot tub which was lovely! We were given a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries as we arrived as we were on our honeymoon. It was a very lovely week made very special and enjoyable by all the staff at the Theartemis Palace! A wonderful hotel would definitely visit again!

Very kind and helpful hotel staff. The hotel provides good and quality shampoo, shower soap and other things. The hotel also provides pool and beach towels. There are always free places at the swimming pool. This is important because there are often big waves in the sea and it is not possible to swim in the sea. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, there is always a good selection of food and there is enough food no matter what time you come to eat. The cooks prepare food very well and deliciously. In the evenings, the hotel provides different entertainment evenings and concerts (except Sundays).

- overall very nice hotel; (I think it is after massive refurbishment/renewal) - lobby is impressive - very beautiful - outdoor swimming pool looks great (especially after dark, as it is nicely lighted - unfortunatly it was too cold too use it... maybe next time) - localisation is great in my opinion - a bit on the side of city center (15 min nice walking distance) - bus stop and large supermarket nearby - beautiful beach 50 metres from the hotel - very big breakfast/dinner choice - great staff, very friendly and caring - if you wish to buy any trip tour, they will come to pick you up from the hotel, a it is on their stop map (at least the tour company we chosen picked us up) - hotel has a lot of common space that you can comfortably use (meeting rooms, business centre, bilard, gym etc)

The hotel totally met my expectation,the jacuzzi room is amazing!The staff was great,always trying to make guests feel good,the enterence at the tables in the restaurant with guidance from the staff,the food was very good,especially dinner,extrordinary pastry in the morning and good deserts,they kept coming with food even if it was closing time, the entertainment at night and the bar were very pleasant,the parking!

We had high expectations just based on the name (incl Palace). However it exceeded our expectation. Breakfast and dinner were superb, with lots of choices for everything...appetizer, main and dessert. Location was great, close to the sea and to public transportation to the old town and main bus terminal. We stayed 5 days, and were pleased throughout. Flew into Heraklion airport and then to the main bus terminal. Took the bus to Rethymno which cost 7.5 euros and took 1.5 hrs. Bus ran every hour to/from Rethymno until late at night.

location modern stylish clean. Food not bad for buffet style. Didn't realise what the do not disturb and maid signs were but useful when I knew otherwise they kept disturbing me randomly! Live music was very good and cocktails well made. Liked the music options on TV and info on hotel. Nice to have slippers and robe.
